I understand that you are not even able to speak with person regarding Sage 100, all communication is via chat.

Both providers charge a fee for payroll services. Bundle your payroll and bookkeeping plans with QuickBooks to save money, otherwise, payroll-only plans start at $45 per month. Sage HRMS Payroll is available as a stand-alone or bundled with your plan, but you need to contact Sage for a custom quote for this.

To ensure other PCs on your network are connected to the same data, copy the files payroll.usr and pay.usr (pay12.usr for users on Sage 50 Payroll v12 and 2007 v13) from the program folder on the PC pointing to the correct location, to the Sage 50 Payroll program folder on the other PCs. The default location is C:\Program Files\Sage Payroll. All PCs using Sage 50 Payroll on the network will then point to the same data providing they all have access to the same network drive.

(Edited 02/02/14)An easier way to point payroll to a different location is to rename the pay.usr and payroll.usr files located in the programdata/sage/payroll folder and just open payroll again, it will ask for your serial number and activation key again and then ask you to browse to an existing set of data or create a new company so make sure you get your serial no. and activation key from help and about before hand.

Computer Associates acquired Information Unlimited Software in 1983[11][12][13] and ran it as an independent business unit.[14][15] Easy Business Systems added payroll processing in 1984 and supported multiuser networking at this time.[16] In 1987, it implemented a multi-window interface to allow moving between different modules.[14] Easy Business Systems was renamed Accpac Plus in 1987 with the release of version 5.[17] Accpac became popular in Canada with support of Canadian public accounting firms that would sell and support the software.[15] The name Accpac is an acronym for 'A Complete and Comprehensive Program for Accounting Control'.[18]

With Amazon SageMaker Canvas, you pay based on usage. SageMaker Canvas lets you interactively ingest, explore, and prepare your data from multiple sources, train highly accurate ML models with your data, and generate predictions. There are two components that determine your bill: session charges based on the number of hours for which SageMaker Canvas is used or logged into, and charges for training the model based on the size of the dataset used to build the model. For more information see the SageMaker Canvas pricing page.

Amazon SageMaker Serverless Inference simplifies the developer experience by eliminating the need to provision capacity up front and manage scaling policies. SageMaker Serverless Inference can scale instantly from tens to thousands of inferences within seconds based on the usage patterns, making it ideal for ML applications with intermittent or unpredictable traffic. For example, a chatbot service used by a payroll processing company experiences an increase in inquiries at the end of the month while for rest of the month traffic is intermittent. Provisioning instances for the entire month in such scenarios is not cost-effective, as you end up paying for idle periods. SageMaker Serverless Inference helps address these types of use cases by providing you automatic and fast scaling out of the box without the need for you to forecast traffic up front or manage scaling policies. Additionally, you pay only for the compute time to run your inference code (billed in milliseconds) and for data processing, making it a cost-effective option for workloads with intermittent traffic.

Amazon SageMaker Savings Plans offer a flexible usage-based pricing model for Amazon SageMaker in exchange for a commitment to a consistent amount of usage (measured in $/hour) for a one- or three-year term. Amazon SageMaker Savings Plans provide the most flexibility and help to reduce your costs by up to 64%. These plans automatically apply to eligible SageMaker ML instance usages, including SageMaker Studio notebooks, SageMaker On-Demand notebooks, SageMaker Processing, SageMaker Data Wrangler, SageMaker Training, SageMaker Real-Time Inference, and SageMaker Batch Transform regardless of instance family, size, or Region. For example, you can change usage from a CPU instance ml.c5.xlarge running in US East (Ohio) to an ml.Inf1 instance in US West (Oregon) for inference workloads at any time and automatically continue to pay the Savings Plans price. Q: Why should I use Amazon SageMaker Savings Plans?
