She talked to Fortune about what inspired her to create Essie, how it got so big, so quickly, and why Las Vegas is the perfect place to launch a nail polish line. This color is so subtle and gorgeous, and I was very happy with how this trial kit performed! The base coat is thin, so the polish went on a bit streaky at first, but once I realized I should buff my nails smooth first, that really helped. My mani lasted 7 days with no chipping, tip wear, or fading! And while removing it I decided to leave one nail painted just to see how long it could go without chipping... 12 days! Truly amazing. The removal process was fairly easy. Not as easy as with traditional polish, but I'm more than willing to go to that extra bit of trouble for the sake of my health!
